Cacao-Kissed Chia Energy Balls

Have a bit of a sweet tooth? Well, these Cacao-Kissed Chia Energy Balls are definitely for you! They’re healthy, bite-sized, and can be adapted to your liking. Add in your favourite nuts, dried fruits, shredded coconut, raw cacao, the list goes on and on. The best thing about these snacks is that they are oh-so easy to make.

Ingredients:

¾ cup Oats (you can use any type you prefer- I usually use whole-grain oats)

¼ cup shredded coconut 4 tbsp honey, agave, or maple syrup (whichever sweetener you prefer)

¼ rsp ground cinnamon

1 Tbsp black or white Chia Seeds

¼ cup creamy or chunky peanut or almond butter

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

¼ cup hemp seeds

¼ cup raw cacao nibs(optional)

¼ cup dried cranberries (optional)

 

Directions:

1)   Place all ingredients into food processor/blender +blend away until a moist/wet mixture is formed

2)   Use a spoon or your hands and scoop the mixture into balls

3)   Store balls in a container and chill in the fridge

4)  Enjoy!
